Reason: To clean and disinfect all types of stone from bacteria and germs without burning or etching the stone surface and to prevent biological staining from developing.

Summary: Most disinfectants that are used today contain alkalis, acids, and other ingredients that are detrimental to natural stone surfaces. These elements often cause adverse reactions to the natural minerals in stone, especially because disinfectants must set on the surface for a minimum of five minutes. In this short time frame, most disinfectants will begin to harm the stone after one application. P
